The Workshop is a project for sharing our resources with the wider community, helping people to learn, to connect and to develop new skills outside of institutional structures. We believe print & publishing are democratic tools that empower people to participate in artistic and political discourse! Towards this end, we offer workshops, membership and residencies at our studio in Wedding.

Pseudo Projects

This micropublishing house acts as an imprint of Pseudo Press, publishing essayistic, snippets, and archival zines. Production takes place in our bedroom with our beloved enfant terrible, a very cheap A3 inkjet printer. The name is a joke that takes too long to explain to be funny.

Founded by Lauria Joan and Noah Witte-Winnett, 2021

WBZ is a seasonal publication by and for Berlin coffee workers. The zine gets bigger with each publication, but also less frequent? Weird.  “Coffee work is great, but it is still work. [...] Work isn’t always fun, but having a community to help you out when things get tough is better than being alone, behind the bar, with no customers and nothing to read on a cold Berlin day.”

Founded by Lauria Joan, Lewis Soulier, and Sophie Ritscher (the Beans), 2021

A blog edited by three She said booksellers/ baristas. She said is a queer feminist bookshop in Neukölln. We publish reviews and articles about books, nourishment, and how both literature and gastronomy are struggling to change Berlin.

Edited by Lauria Joan, Narumi Mastroscianni, and Sophie Ritscher.
